People come and go in our lives everyday; some stay longer and some a bit shorter. No matter their length of time, they still touch us. They still find a way to find a place in our heart or our mind that we have the chance to hold onto a little part of them. Unfortunately, I didn't get the pleasure of being as close to Autumn as much as I wished. My 3 years at Mischief Managed, has left me in and out of roleplay with her, but I am completely thankful for the time I did share with her.

The winter gala in 2024(or 2017), a night where we both danced and enjoyed our time together, laughing about her "twin" brother and scoffing at her late date. It was a simple time, and a simple memory, but it was the start of me getting to know Autumn, or Denna in her student form. It was just a snowball of roleplay from there, as I would see her later at a New Year's Eve party, and a few holiday parties. I even remember laughing about the New Year's Eve party today with Minnie, as we reminiscence. We all played spin the bottle, in true teenage fashion, and Deena had to kiss her one true love over and over again... (we all swore the game was rigged.)

It wasn't until a few months ago, that I started to get close to the impeccable young woman that we all love. Her positivity was infectious, and radiated whenever she was in the room or when we had a laugh on voice. She was a true bohemian star child, destined for greater and better things. I can only truly hope that she was able to see how loved she was, and how we all were blessed to have her in our life.

The reality is that you will grieve forever. You will not 'get over' the loss of a loved one; you will learn to live with it. You will heal and you will rebuild yourself around the loss you have suffered. You will be whole again but, you will never be the same. Nor should you be the same, nor would you want to...

My sincerest condolences go out to Autumn's family and friends, along with her loving boyfriend, Dylan. Let us be your strength so we all can get through this... because heaven truly just gained a beautiful soul and angel.
